Founded in January, 2001, MediCo Unlimited, LLC is a Kansas based healthcare consulting firm dedicated to serving medical & dental practices of all sizes, ASCs, smaller hospitals, and medical affiliates such as medical societies. We economically enhance practice cash flow, compliance, and long-term value by utilizing time-tested strategies and administrative tools. We help smaller practices compete more effectively with larger competitors in the medical field and national insurance companies.

Qualifications

The president of the company, Mr. Jeff Eckert, has 25 years of business and healthcare experience (including as CFO and large practice Administrator), has worked with over 40 health care specialties, helped finance over $400 million of debt and equity, and handled the financial aspects of four corporate mergers.

Mr. Eckert has been intimately involved in leading edge medical practice issues, such as being asked to testify for prompt pay legislation. His experience representing practices on four hospital, IPA, and insurer contracting committees has provided him with unique payor contracting insights that are sought after today. In addition to his daily career responsibilities, Mr. Eckert taught business and investments courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels for eight years.

Mr. Eckert holds an MBA from The College of William & Mary's Mason School of Business, an MBA program ranked 12th among public business schools, 29th among all U.S. business schools, and 51st internationally (top 10% of all accredited MBA schools) by the Financial Times. Additionally, the program is ranked 19th by the Wall Street Journal, in the top 50 by the Princeton Review, and 23rd by Forbes. He is dual certified nationally in management accounting and financial management and has been published and quoted in national and local professional healthcare journals.

Affiliates of MediCo are certified in their respective fields (e.g., coding, telecommunications, I.T.) and are regarded as some of the most experienced at their profession.
